A new attractor to redevelop Laives town centre.

We have focused our design to connect the public main plaza adjacent to the church, with a fully permeable ground floor accessible by the town habitants. A new civic library, art gallery promoting local artists and craftsmen’s, and administrative functions will be host by the new city centre hub.

We dare to properly face the building to the main plaza, developing a binocular shape oriented towards the public space and the church. The timber façade made by concentric rings was developed to better respond to the environment, guarantee the best thermal performance.

The function and the environment shaped the architecture, and the people will make the best of its potential.
